From Eterna Wiki
Tetraloops closed by UG or GU aren't numerous on FRABASE. I selected following ones.
UAGG
AAGC
Interestingly, both structures are very reminiscent of the GNRA tetraloop family.

Negative in both cases. It can be argued that no tetraloops tried at 25-30 actually worked in the whole round, but that's about it.
Maybe this could be seen as a nice way to get SHAPE-score-efficient hexaloops...
Possibly, this could be indicative that tetraloops closed by GU pairs require a solid "backing" pair, and possibly that more pairs in the supporting stack are involved in the local stability of the structure (thus contradicting slightly the nearest neighbor model we're using...)
