How to use the annotation tool
Players can use the annotation tool to place notes within lab designs or puzzle designs. They cannot be added after publishing.
- Click on Annotation Mode in the toolbar. Select the bases you want to annotate. Click Create. Add text and adjust bases selected if desired. Click Save.
- To exit Annotation Mode, click on the swap tool or any nucleotide in the toolbar.
- The note can be repositioned by clicking on the note then clicking the move option. Click Save once the note has been positioned.
Notes can be hidden temporarily by clicking on the eye next to the annotation in the Annotations Panel. Annotations can also be edited, deleted, and grouped into layers in the Annotations Panel.
